Thousands of protesters marched outside Trump Tower in Chicago and on Sixth Avenue in New York, as well as in other cities on Wednesday, demonstrating against Donald Trump's election Tuesday night.
In Chicago, protesters blocked the entrance to Trump Tower, shouting, "No Trump, no KKK, no fascists, USA!" and "Not my president!" One demonstrator, Emily Marlowe of Chicago, told the Chicago Tribune she wants to show that "there are still good people in this country. We'll be here every day if we have to."
In New York City, protesters gathered in Union Square then marched up Sixth Avenue to Trump Tower, chanting "Impeach!" and "Rapist!" There are also protests underway in San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Philadelphia, and Portland, Oregon.
