Donald Trump reflects on his home, history, and family with TMZ

In an interview with TMZ's Harvey Levin that aired Friday evening on Fox News, President-elect Donald Trump gave viewers a guided tour of his luxurious home in Trump Tower in New York City. Called OBJECTified: Donald Trump, the special sought to introduce Trump through his material possessions, and conversation covered Trump's childhood as well as current family life.
"I talk to all my children, but not in the sense of that much involvement," the incoming president said. "Nothing I'm proud of, but their mothers have done such a good job." Of wife Melania, he said, "She's very traditional. She'd rather stay at home than anything else, she's very traditional. I think that's good." Trump added, "I'm a good father but she's very dominant when it comes to raising her son."
The incoming president also spoke about his strict, lifelong teetotalism, adopted because of the battle with alcoholism he observed in his late brother, Freddy. Trump expressed hope that viewers would be inspired by his comments to likewise avoid drugs, cigarettes, and alcohol. Imagining the possibility, he mused, "there’s something really cool about that, don't you think?"
