Justin Timberlake will reportedly perform at the Super Bowl halftime show — 14 years after that whole nipple kerfuffle

Justin Timberlake has reportedly been asked to perform at the Super Bowl LII halftime show in 2018, Us Weekly reports.

While officials have yet to confirm the reports, Timberlake's return to the Super Bowl would mark 14 years since his infamous 2004 halftime show with Janet Jackson, when he pulled off a piece of her outfit and briefly exposed her breast. "Nipplegate" forever changed how broadcasts are aired — five-second delays were subsequently implemented for all live performances — and Jawed Karim has claimed that the event sparked the creation of the website he co-founded, YouTube.
