Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus announced Thursday that she has breast cancer. "One in eight women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one," she said in a statement posted to Twitter:
The 56-year-old Veep actress' message garnered hundreds of messages of support. "This seven-year breast cancer survivor sends love and holds you in the light," one Twitter user wrote. "If laughter if the best medicine, cancer has no chance when it comes to you!" tweeted another.
