Get ready for the only supermoon of 2017
Clear your schedule for Sunday night. It'll be your only chance to see a supermoon this year.
On Dec. 3, the moon will swing closer to Earth than it's been since last November. It'll appear bigger than usual because it will shine up to 30 percent more moonlight on Earth, according to NASA.
This won't be an especially super supermoon, though. The next truly giant supermoon is predicted for 2034, so it's best to check out this one right after moonrise or right before moonset. You can find your prime viewing time here.
