Any way you slice it, President Trump is not a popular president. On Thursday, the Pew Research Center recorded Trump's lowest approval rating since his inauguration, with just 32 percent of Americans saying they are happy with the job he is doing in office.

Other polls have Trump's approval rating slightly higher, though. Earlier this week, Politico/Morning Consult observed "a small uptick in Trump’s approval rating as president — to 45 percent, up from 43 percent last week. A slight majority, 51 percent, disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president."
