Watch actor Paul Sorvino unleash a father's anger on Harvey Weinstein
In October, actress Mira Sorvino told The New Yorker that she believed producer Harvey Weinstein kneecapped her career after she refused his sexual advances in 1995, and last month director Peter Jackson appeared to confirm her suspicions.
On Tuesday night, TMZ asked Sorvino's father, actor Paul Sorvino, about Weinstein in the parking lot of a Bristol Farms supermarket. "He ought to hope he goes to jail," Sorvino said. "That son of a bitch, good for him if he goes, 'cause if not, he has to meet me and I will kill the motherfu--er." TMZ told Sorvino that Los Angeles prosecutors are looking at two possible cases against Weinstein. "This pig will get his comeuppance," Sorvino said. "The law will get him, he's going to go to jail and die in jail. But if he doesn't. ... I'll just slap him around, I won't do anything terrible."
Mira Sorvino apparently took her father's death threats against Weinstein as an act of love, responding to a second video posted by reporter Yashar Ali, of Sorvino thanking her weeping father while receiving her Oscar.
