Trump lauds historic Korean summit: 'KOREAN WAR TO END!'

President Trump took to Twitter on Friday, after a historic summit between South Korea's Moon Jae-in and North Korea's Kim Jong Un, to tout the improving relationships between the U.S., North Korea, and South Korea. "KOREAN WAR TO END!" he trumpeted.
The two Korean leaders on Friday pledged to pursue denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula. Trump tweeted that "good things are happening" and that people in the U.S. should be "very proud" of the progress. He additionally noted that his "good friend" Chinese President Xi Jinping had aided the U.S. in its relationship with North Korea.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Kim in North Korea earlier in April ahead of Trump's planned summit with Kim in coming months.
