The Trump name is starting look more like a liability than a commodity.
First, Ivanka Trump shut down her self-named clothing brand amid falling sales. Now, her recently opened spa in Washington, D.C, is offering a major online coupon that carefully avoids mentioning the name of the hotel it's in, the Washingtonian has pointed out.
The discount website Travelzoo.com listed a steal at "one of D.C.'s newest luxury spas housed in the stunning and historic Old Post Office Building" — which, coincidentally, is where the Trump Hotel is located. Hawk-eyed discount divas will notice that the deal is located at "Spa by Ivanka Trump," and the spa's website is housed at TrumpHotels.com.
