As soon as Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh finished testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday evening, President Trump tweeted words of support.
Kavanaugh was testy and clearly angry throughout the hearing, sparring with Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.). Trump said that Kavanaugh "showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats' search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!"
