Lest you think she's been lost in the woods for the last several months, Hillary Clinton made a quick Murphy Brown cameo Thursday to remind viewers that "you could have had me."
Well, not a cameo, exactly. Clinton appeared on the classic sitcom reboot's premiere to play a character named "Hilary Clinton," with one "L." The former secretary of state arrived on camera to interview for a position as Brown's secretary. Like any good job candidate, she made sure to emphasize her past secretarial experience: "For four years, I was the secretary ... of a very large organization," she said, also noting her "experience with emails."
Brown told Clinton she was "maybe overqualified" and that she'd need to think it over, at which point Clinton handed her a business card that read "Hilary@youcouldhavehadme.com." Watch the appearance below, via CBS, unless you have a low tolerance for cringe-worthy acting. Summer Meza
