Democrats' dreams of a so-called blue wave don't appear to be coming to fruition, according to CNN's Jake Tapper.

After CNN projected that Republican Rep. Andy Barr will win in Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, Tapper observed that while Democrats could still easily take back the House, "when you look at what is going on here tonight, this is not a blue wave." Had Democrat Amy McGrath won that race, this would have suggested a "powerful blue wave" was coming, but she came up short, as did Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly in Indiana.
