Republican incumbent Rep. Carlos Curbelo has conceded to Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell in Florida's 26th Congressional District, The New York Times reports.
CNN and The Associated Press have also called the race for Mucarsel-Powell. She secured 50.7 percent of the vote to Curbelo's 49.3, with 97 percent of precincts reporting, per Politico.
The moderate Curbelo notably deviated from President Trump's agenda, especially when it came to immigration policy. Mucarsel-Powell, meanwhile, continued to tie Curbelo to the president by stressing his vote to repeal ObamaCare, per the Times.
