Only 1 state in the country will have a divided legislature next year

Every election season there bubbles up talk of "division" and "unity," but those buzzwords might actually have a place in 2018's post-midterm America. Beginning next year, Minnesota will be the only state in the country to have a divided legislature — every other state legislature is single-party controlled, a phenomenon that hasn't happened in 105 years:
