Nancy Pelosi questions whether Trump 'knows how to deal with women in power'

As she prepares to take the gavel as House speaker for the second time, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says President Trump should recognize that "a new day has dawned in America."
Pelosi sat down for an interview with Today broadcast Thursday, in which she said she hopes she'll be able to work with Trump now that he "is more acclimated" to the new Democratic majority. When asked if she believes the president deals with her differently because she's a woman, Pelosi said she has "no idea" and "we'll see." But she did say she's not sure Trump "knows how to deal with women in power and women with strength." Again, though, she added, "well see."
Pelosi previously said in a closed-door meeting that the wall along the southern border is a "manhood thing" for Trump. She told Today she wishes this comment hadn't been leaked. Watch Pelosi's full Today interview below. Brendan Morrow
