Bryan Singer will still direct Red Sonja, despite allegations of sexual abuse

The production company behind the upcoming reboot of Red Sonja is standing behind director Bryan Singer.
On Wednesday, The Atlantic published an exposé about Singer and his relationships with underage boys, with several men accusing him of having sex with them when they were minors. Singer denied the allegations, and Avi Lerner, founder and CEO of Millennium Films, released a statement Thursday saying that he supports Singer, and is not firing him from Red Sonja.
"The over $800 million Bohemian Rhapsody has grossed, making it the highest grossing drama in film history, is testament to his remarkable vision and acumen," Lerner said. "I know the difference between agenda driven fake news and reality, and I am very comfortable with this decision. In America people are innocent until proven guilty." Singer was the first director of the Oscar-nominated Bohemian Rhapsody, but was fired after clashes with some of the actors and going missing from the set. He was replaced by Dexter Fletcher, but is still the only director credited for the film.
