Pete Buttigieg is a candidate of many talents, and he's certainly getting the chance to show them off.
Throughout his 2020 Democratic campaign, the South Bend, Indiana mayor has often substituted English for one of the seven other languages he reportedly knows. There's an example of him speaking Norwegian with a news outlet from that country in late March, and he answered a full question in Italian at a news conference on Wednesday. But if you wanted further proof that he can at least hold a basic conversation in seven languages, he served it up to Good Morning America on Thursday.
Buttigieg has been rising through the primary ranks since he launched his exploratory committee in January. He's expected to officially announce in his hometown of South Bend on April 14.
