Special Counsel Robert Mueller will not be attending Attorney General William Barr's press conference on his report Thursday morning, Mueller spokesman Peter Carr told Politico.
Carr also confirmed that not a single member of the special counsel's prosecution team will be at the press conference. Carr will attend the event, due to his role working with the media on Justice Department criminal matters.
Politico's Darren Samuelsohn asked Carr if Mueller was invited to the press conference, and he declined comment.
