Jaden Smith will play a young Kanye West in Showtime series
Kanye West is developing a television show. In typical Kanye fashion, the main character will be Kanye — but it won't be West starring.
Jaden Smith has signed on to play young Kanye in the series, which will air on Showtime, writes The Hollywood Reporter. Titled "Omniverse," the show will be a half-hour anthology series examining "the many doors of perception."
The first season will be written by Lee Sung Jin and will explore ego through an alternate reality version of West, reports Deadline.
