There's a New York Yankee in Queen Elizabeth's court.

The Yankees and their archrival Boston Red Sox are playing in Major League Baseball's first ever game on European on soil on Saturday. The ancient enemies will play a two game set in London in the inaguaral London Series at London Stadium, the 2012 Olympics Venue and current home stadium for the West Ham United soccer team.

Both teams got royal visits before the game, as well — Megan Markle and Prince Harry visited the teams in their locker rooms before they took the field. And while there's still a lot of baseball to be played, the Yankees, who lead the Red Sox by nine games in the American League East, earned some bragging rights before play even started. The Yankees gifted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a personalized jersey for their young son, Archie, and the prince was not shy about acknowledging that it was superior to Boston's gift.
