Apple debuts subscription game service, touts that Frogger is included

Forget new iPhones. You can put a frog in a bathing suit now.
At its special event on Tuesday, Apple revealed some new iterations of Apple Watches, a $4.99 subscription price for Apple TV+, and a coming game subscription service in the app store. But all that pales in comparison to Apple Arcade's main attraction: An amped-up version of Frogger.
The Apple Special Event's first announcement came from Frogger's creators at Konami, and it quickly became clear this would be the premier announcement of the day. In Frogger in Toy Town, players hop through a candy-colored world of alphabet blocks and crawling babies, collecting jellybeans and rescuing fellow frog friends along the way. Oh, and they can choose "dozens of different outfits" to put their frog in.

Frogger in Toy Town will only be available in the Apple Arcade, which offers more than 100 games for $4.99 per month. You can dress your frog starting on Sept. 19.
