Trump says it 'doesn't really feel like we're being impeached' as House impeaches him

President Trump spoke at a campaign rally Wednesday night just as he was becoming only the third president in American history to be impeached.
Trump took the stage at a rally in Battle Creek, Michigan, just as the House was preparing to pass two articles of impeachment charging him with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
"It doesn't really feel like we're being impeached," Trump told supporters. "The country is doing better than ever before. We did nothing wrong. We did nothing wrong. And we have tremendous support in the Republican party."

Trump remained primarily focused on his talking points at the rally just as history was being made in the House of Representatives. As the first article of impeachment passed, Trump spoke at the rally about F-35 pilots who "are better looking than Tom Cruise." Ahead of the rally, Trump had lashed out at the impeachment vote on Twitter, describing it as "an assault on America." Brendan Morrow
