Watch tonight's Democratic primary debate
After a labor dispute almost shut it down, December's Democratic debate is proceeding as planned. PBS NewsHour and Politico will host the sixth primary debate — and the first one after President Trump's impeachment — at Los Angeles' Loyola Marymount University on Thursday, and it's available to watch on both of the news sources' websites and on YouTube.
Just seven candidates qualified for Thursday's debate: Former Vice President Joe Biden; South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.); Sen Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.); billionaire philanthropist Tom Steyer; Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.); and entrepreneur Andrew Yang. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) qualified for the debate before dropping out, while Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro are among those still running who were sidelined.
Watch a livestream of the debate below, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
