When asked during Tuesday's Democratic debate why she wouldn't immediately ban fracking if elected president, Klobuchar said she considers natural gas a necessary "transition fuel," which can help the U.S. net zero carbon emissions in the long run. Sanders, who supports banning fracking, simply shook his head.
