Kangaroo boxing caught on film
A man has been caught on video having a fist-fight with a large kangaroo in Condobolin, in Australia's New South Wales. The man, identified only as "Goo", became concerned when the marsupial trapped his hunting dog in a headlock. When he confronted the animal, it reared up aggressively and he punched it in the face. The tactic was successful: the dog was released and the kangaroo hopped away.

A memo to the UK's MPs and civil servants outlining a tough new stance on leaking memos has been leaked. According to the Daily Mail, Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood wrote: "The Prime Minister has directed that we urgently tighten security [and] expects to see rapid and visible improvement." The memo came to light just days after it was sent.
'Fake US embassy' runs for ten years
Members of an organised crime syndicate in Ghana have been caught after allegedly operating a fake US embassy for more than ten years. According to local reports, they sold forged visas and other government documents from a small building decorated with the US flag and portraits of US President Barack Obama.
