The details are still being worked out, but in the coming days Hillary Clinton will address her use of a private email account while secretary of State, sources close to Clinton tell The New York Times and Politico. According to Politico's sources, Clinton will hold a press conference in New York. So far, Clinton has only addressed the issue in a tweet, urging the State Department to make her emails public — a process that will take months

This would be Clinton's first press conference since leaving office two years ago, and it probably won't totally defuse the controversy before her expected announcement that she is running for president. "You guys are going to just say it raises more questions than it answers," a Clinton confidante tells Politico, but "it's something she needs to do."
