The Baltimore police announced Thursday that they finished their investigation into the death of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old man who died in police custody. Their findings, which will not be revealed to the public, were passed on to Marilyn J. Mosby, a Baltimore state's attorney who will review the information and conduct her own investigation to ultimately decide if any of the officers involved in the incident should be prosecuted.

No information from the investigations will be made public until Mosby's office has a fuller picture of what happened to Gray, who emerged from a police van with an unexplained fatal spinal injury, prompting widespread protests.
