Even in his home state, Martin O'Malley's numbers look pretty dismal. After serving as governor for eight years in Maryland, the presidential candidate only garners the support of 4 percent of the state's Democratic voters, a new Washington Post-University of Maryland poll reveals.

To put that in perspective, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has more than 10 times that support on O'Malley's home turf, with 43 percent of voters backing her. Bernie Sanders also trounces O'Malley with 20 percent and Joe Biden — who hasn't even announced whether he's running — snags 26 percent.
