Jeb Bush's sixth-place finish in the Iowa caucuses didn't come cheap. The Weekly Standard did the math, and figured out that the former Florida governor spent an estimated $2,884 on each of the 5,156 votes he got in the Iowa caucuses Monday night.

That's a modest estimate too, as the tally is based on the $14.9 million Bush's super PAC reportedly spent in Iowa. But, The Weekly Standard reports, if money spent on national ads and by the campaign were factored in, "the total would be significantly more."
