Bernie Sanders didn't win an endorsement from Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and he's thrilled about it. In fact, the Democratic presidential hopeful went so far as to thank him for backing his rival, Hillary Clinton:
Sanders, who has been campaigning in Illinois ahead of Tuesday's primary, also called out Emanuel in a news conference Saturday. Emanuel has long been criticized for budget cuts across Chicago Public Schools. More recently, he's come under fire for the city's delay in releasing video footage of the fatal shooting of a black teenager, Laquan McDonald, at the hands of a police officer.
