Following last month's leak of internal party emails, the Democratic National Committee is undergoing a flurry of personnel changes, Politico reports. CEO Amy Dacey resigned Tuesday after one of the leaked emails appeared to show her discussing with DNC CFO Brad Marshall how to use Sen. Bernie Sanders' faith against him during the Democratic primary race. The email leak raised suspicions that the DNC acted during the primaries in ways that would benefit Sanders' rival, Hillary Clinton.

Dacey is the second prominent party official to exit after Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) resigned as chairwoman last month. Following Dacey out the door are Marshall and spokesman Luis Miranda; interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile announced Tuesday that Tom McMahon, a longtime DNC official, would lead the leadership transition team.
