The New York Times now gives Trump a 59 percent chance of winning the presidency

Just before 10 p.m. ET on Election Day, The New York Times gave Donald Trump a 59 percent chance of winning the presidency. The latest projection marked a drastic shift from just hours before, when The New York Times projected Hillary Clinton had an 83 percent chance of winning. Key states, including Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina, remain too close to call.
