Donald Trump is meeting today with David Petraeus for secretary of state consideration

On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump will meet with another contender for secretary of state, retired General David Petraeus. Trump's meeting with Petraeus, the former CIA director who Bloomberg noted "left government under a cloud for sharing classified documents during an extramarital affair," comes amid mounting tensions within Trump's transition team over who should be appointed secretary of state.

Over the weekend, aide Kellyanne Conway publicly expressed her doubts about top contender Mitt Romney, a move that reportedly made Trump "furious." Trump is also reportedly considering former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
