The “Karen” meme has left most Britons with negative thoughts about the name, a new study has revealed. Karen is being used to describe middle-class women who act in a privileged and demanding manner. New data shows 62% of UK adults now associate the name with traits including entitlement, obnoxiousness, and privilege.
‘World’s oldest man’ dies
A South African thought to be the world's oldest man has died at the age of 116. Fredie Blom was born in the Eastern Cape in May 1904. He lived through both world wars and also survived the Spanish flu and Covid-19 pandemics. Blom’s family told the AFP news agency that he had died of natural causes.

Cat arrives home with odd message
An owner was baffled when her cat arrived home one day with an unusual paper collar around her neck. The owner unwrapped the paper to discover it was a note that read: “Does this cat have a home? Always at Toby Carvery.” When the woman arrived at the carvery restaurant, she was told the 11-year-old cat kept appearing there, spending hours meowing at diners.
