Five things you didn’t know about Hailey Bieber
Model and TV personality wed Justin Bieber in 2018
Model Hailey Baldwin married Canadian chart-topper Justin Bieber last year, at the tender age of 21.
The couple had previously dated for a while a few years back, “stirred chatter among fans... appearing together and sparking speculation that they had reunited” in summer 2018, CNN reports. In November, Baldwin confirmed that the pair had married and changed her surname on her social media accounts.
Baldwin “comes from a dynasty of Hollywood actors but has also forged a successful career of her own”, The Sun says.

Here are five key facts about her:
She’s part of the famous Baldwin family
Born in 1996, she hails from a long line of famous Baldwins.
Her father is actor Stephen Baldwin, known for his roles in Born on the Fourth of July and The Usual Suspects, while her uncles Daniel, William and - most notably - Alec, are also successful Hollywood actors.
Her cousin Ireland, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and his ex-wife Kim Basinger, has also found fame as a fashion model and actress.
She started out modelling for French Connection
Baldwin has forged a successful career as a model, making her commercial debut in a campaign for French Connection shortly after signing for top New York agency Ford Models in 2014.
In 2017, she was named the face of Guess and appeared in adverts and on billboards across the globe.
“Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana; Hailey had done campaigns for each of them before she was even old enough to legally drink in the US,” says news site The South African.
She has since transitioned to TV presenting and now co-hosts James Corden’s adapted late-night segment Drop the Mic with rapper Method Man, The Sun adds.
She’s a practising Christian
Baldwin has spoken about how she was “raised in the Church” after her dad returned to faith later in his life, and has been photographed on a number of occasions arriving at Sunday services with Bieber.
In 2016, she told Teen Vogue: “I was brought up in that life, and I think that it’s very important for everybody to be in touch with their spirituality and to have a relationship with God. Not everybody is going to believe in the God that I believe in, but it’s something that I’m not afraid to share with people because I know how it inspires me - how it positively affects my life.
“A lot of my closest friends, people that I trust the most, people that have been there for me the most are all people that are in my church and people that are kind of trying to guide me from the outside perspective.”
She was homeschooled
After eighth grade - equivalent to year nine in the UK - Baldwin switched to homeschooling, to escape the attention that came with having a famous family, Celebuzz reports.
She said of this time of her life: “The thing that was annoying about having an uncle that’s in 30 Rock is that kids didn’t understand it. They’re like, ‘What?’ Then they’re like, ‘You have to go away to LA with your dad, what?’ And they didn’t get that. And that’s what I’ve struggled with my whole life, in school too.”
Baldwin and Bieber went through 'a lot of weirdness'
The couple are believed to have dated between 2015 and 2016.
After calling it quits, “we went through a long period of time when we weren’t friends”, Baldwin told The Times.
“Justin and I were friends for a long time,” she explained. “I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everybody knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you’re 18, 19.
“It was what it was. We didn’t speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. We’ve moved past that.”
She and Bieber “rekindled their romance this summer, fuelling rumours they had reconciled as they packed on PDA during trips to Miami, New York City and the Hamptons”, says People magazine.
