For those who have everything: The Egg Minder
The Egg Minder keeps track of which eggs are oldest and warns you of eggs that might have gone bad.
The Egg Minder represents “an elegant solution to a common food waste problem.” Made for storing eggs in the refrigerator, it keeps track of which eggs are oldest and warns you of eggs that might have gone bad. Inside the container, a blue LED light always marks the egg that has sat longest. When you remove that egg, the light beside the next oldest egg will turn blue, and so on. A related smartphone app keeps track of your egg inventory, too. Besides helping you know when to pick up a new carton, it indicates on-screen which eggs you’ve had for too long.
