Kanye West; Cory Booker; Prince Andrew

Kanye West went on an irate, all-caps Twitter rampage against Jimmy Kimmel last week, after the late-night host poked fun at the rapper in a skit on his ABC show. The subject of the parody was a recent TV interview in which West boasted that he is the “No. 1 rock star on the planet,” and that he could also be a top designer and architect if the world wasn’t holding him back. Kimmel had a child re-enact West’s grandiose comments, making them seem even more absurd. West responded with a series of furious, profane tweets. Kimmel also told his viewers that West had called him privately to demand an apology. “Finally, I’m in a rap feud,” Kimmel said. “I’ve always wanted to be in a rap feud.”

Newark, N.J., Mayor Cory Booker admitted last week that he had exchanged Twitter messages with a stripper, explaining he was just engaging with the public. Exotic dancer Lynsie Lee, who works at a vegan strip club in Portland, Ore., revealed private messages that she had received from Booker, who is single, after she tweeted that she had “dibs on First Lady” if he became president. “The East Coast loves you and by the East Coast I mean me,” Booker wrote. The mayor’s spokesperson said the messages were innocuous, and showed only how “accessible” he is. “The most shocking thing about the story is the news that there’s a vegan strip club in Portland,” he said.
