Clint Eastwood has defended his much-ridiculed “chair” speech at the Republican National Convention, said TMZ.com. The 82-year-old Hollywood legend said he chose to speak off-the-cuff and without a teleprompter because “I didn’t have my glasses with me.” Eastwood shrugged off the criticism of his remarks, which consisted of rambling criticism of an imaginary President Obama. “There is something about the aging process that makes you give a crap less,” he said. He shook his head disdainfully when told that Obama was still a fan of his work. “Well, that’s his bad judgment,” said Eastwood.
