A Texan's brash approach to stealing
A naked Texas man crashed a pickup truck through the glass front doors of a closed shopping mall, rammed through the gate of a sporting-goods store, and then calmly dressed himself in clothing he took off the racks. Police say they found Arthur Walker, 35, in the store, dressed head to toe in stolen apparel. He was forced to take off a pair of Air Jordan sneakers, police said, but was taken away still dressed in stolen merchandise “because nobody wants to see him nude.”

Tom Cruise is buying a private jet just to visit his daughter. Suri Cruise, 6, will live with mother Katie Holmes in New York, under terms of the couple’s divorce agreement. Cruise, 50, spends most of his time in Los Angeles, so he will buy the jet to see Suri as often as possible, sometimes flying the girl to him. He plans to make the $50 million jet “very kid-friendly inside so she could enjoy the trip,” a source tells ShowbizSpy.com. Cruise’s “game plan” in the battle for the child’s loyalty, the source adds, is “to spoil her rotten.”
Let's get those spiders!
A California man is currently homeless, after attempting to clear spiderwebs from his backyard using a propane-powered blowtorch. Homeowner Eiliya Maida succeeded in ridding his property of webs, but also set fire to some weeds, and the blaze spread to his house and did about $25,000 in damage before it was extinguished. Local fire Chief Keith Carter cautioned other homeowners against the use of blowtorches for gardening projects. It’s “one of those commonsense” things, he said.
