A California woman is suing McDonald’s, claiming it’s the burger chain’s fault she became a prostitute. Shelley Lynn alleges she became a sex worker because of the influence of her ex-husband, Keith Handley, who once hired her to work at his McDonald’s franchise. Lynn says the company failed to conduct “due diligence into the moral character of Handley when it sold franchises to him.”

Tampa officials have released a list of items considered a security threat during the Republican National Convention in August, including water pistols, masks, and even pieces of string.
