The organization provides children with access to nutrition and exercise programs before, during, and after school hours, and helps schools get their own programs up and running and measure their effects. Collaborating with 70 leading not-for-profit groups and government agencies in the U.S., Action for Healthy Kids supports its initiatives with cutting-edge research and practical advice. With a focus on in-school programs, Action for Healthy Kids instills healthy eating habits and a love of exercise, reaching 4.5 million students in 9,200 schools throughout the country.
