The Republican Study Committee unveiled an internet ad that contrasts one of Ronald Reagan's most memorable speeches with the words of Democratic leaders of today. In a 1964 address filmed in black and white, Reagan warns that liberals want to expand the government, raise taxes, and erode "the freedoms that were intended for us by the Founding Fathers." With the GOP hoping to wrest power from the radical Democrats in November, "Reagan never sounded so timely," says John Hinderaker at Power Line. The GOP better hope viewers aren't paying close attention, says Stephen C. Webster in The Raw Story. After all, "the former B-movie actor's administration tripled the U.S. deficit and grew the size of the federal government by over 60,000 new workers. Watch the GOP ad:
