Airport workers discover package with severed human heads
Airport workers in Arkansas opened a mislabeled package and discovered about 60 severed human heads, duct-taped into plastic containers. Police determined that the heads were being shipped to a medical company in Texas that uses them in experiments. Shipping heads by air is “a common practice,” said a spokesman for the company, Medtronic Inc. But having the packages opened en route, he said, is “very uncommon.”

Lady Gaga, dressed in a lacy black bra, matching panties, and a half-opened baseball jersey, stormed into the New York Yankees’ clubhouse after a game last week, said the New York Post. The singer, openly drinking whiskey, kept caressing her own chest, and players lost interest in talking to sportswriters. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman later said that it was not appropriate for players to be so visibly enthused about a celebrity visitor after losing a game. “That was the wrong time and the wrong place,” Cashman said.
Woman's attempt to confront fear of monkeys ends badly
A British woman with a phobia of monkeys visited a Thai wildlife park to confront her fears, and was attacked by wild monkeys. Dee Darwell, 56, says the therapeutic visit was going well until a macaque monkey “walked up next to me, and I thought, ‘Oh dear.’” The monkey then “pounced on my right arm, sinking his teeth in,” says Darwell. Other macaques joined in the attack, scratching and biting Darwell until she lost consciousness. Darwell recovered—physically, at least—in a local hospital.
