Bear, tiger and lion become affectionate friends

A bear, a tiger, and a lion rescued from a drug dealer when they were just a few months old have grown up together at a Georgia habitat and now act like loving members of the same family. The tiger, named Shere Khan, the American black bear, called Baloo, and Leo the African lion live peacefully together in a clubhouse, and often play and nuzzle each other affectionately. “They were raised together and don’t realize they’re separate species,” said Diane Smith of the Noah’s Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center. “They don’t realize they’re supposed to be enemies.”

World record set for one-fingered pushups

A Chinese martial arts master who has spent decades strengthening his right index finger has set a new world record by doing 12 pushups on that digit. Fu Bingli, 39, can also do a one-fingered handstand, supporting his entire weight on it. “My index finger has as much strength in it as most people’s entire body,” Fu says.
