Gossip: Michael Jackson
The producers of a documentary about Michael Jackson are denying rumors that they used a fake King of Pop in several dance scenes.
The producers of the documentary This Is It, which chronicles Michael Jackson’s final days rehearsing for a 50-date concert engagement, are pushing back against reports that they used a fake King of Pop in several dance scenes. Jackson’s father, Joe, sparked the rumors when he told a London newspaper that the film, which premieres this week, features “mostly body doubles.” A spokesman for Sony, which is distributing the film, told TMZ.com that audiences would soon be able to see for themselves that every frame in the film is “unquestionably Michael.”
