BAD DAY FOR: A saline solution, after a New Jersey man sued Denny’s for using too much salt in its food. Nick DeBenedetto, backed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, argues that Denny’s meals “are dangerously high in sodium,” noting that a Denny’s double cheeseburger has 3,880 milligrams of salt. Doctors recommend no more than 2,300 milligrams a day. Salt is linked to high blood pressure. (Los Angeles Times)
