Seattle dog recovers from marijuana high
A dog from Seattle is recovering after eating a large amount of marijuana. Owner Jen Waddell was walking her black Labrador, Jack, in a local park when he ran off the path and disappeared for three minutes. Not long after, Jack, 11, seemed to have forgotten how to walk. “He was looking at his paw,” said Waddell, “then looking at the ground, and then trying to get his paw to reach the ground, but was unsuccessful.” Jack was rushed to the vet, where his stomach was found to contain a sizable quantity of marijuana.

Michael Jackson is struggling to assemble a children’s choir for his upcoming London concerts, says the London Daily Mirror. According to an e-mail sent last week to British casting agents, Jackson, 50, wants a choir of children ranging in age from 5 to 13, comprising “exactly equal” numbers of black, white, Asian, and mixed-race children, each of whom must know sign language. A source close to the concert promoters called the task a “logistical nightmare” and “a near impossibility.”
Selling high-grade drool
The Chinese equivalent of eBay has banned the sale of teenage girls’ saliva. The seller, known as Zhou, was charging $3 a bottle for the saliva, which he recommended for use as a “tonic.” Though Taobao.com has taken down Zhou’s listing, he now plans to sell teenage girls’ nighttime drool. His premium high-grade drool, says Zhou, “was all collected from 18-year-old pretty girls while they were sleeping.”
