Las Vegas casino sued over feng shui tactics
A Taiwanese gambler is suing the Venetian casino in Las Vegas, claiming it used ancient feng shui techniques to break his winning streak. The man, identified only as Yuan, says he won $400,000, but when he returned to his room, he found a black cloth on the wall and two white cloths in the hallway outside. German man uses a swan as a cudgel
A German man has been arrested for beating another man with a swan. The suspect, identified by police as “Sebastian P.,” had been drinking in a Munich park when he suddenly seized the waterfowl by the neck and swung it like a cudgel at a man whose East German accent he found offensive. “You eastern pig!” witnesses say Sebastian P. yelled. “They should rebuild the [Berlin] Wall right up to the sky because of you!” Both victim and swan escaped without serious injury.
