London

The least-wanted list: Britain has released the names of 16 people it has barred from the country for allegedly fostering “extremism or hatred.” The list includes five Americans—among them, conservative shock jock Michael Savage—along with Palestinian militants, Russian skinheads, and neo-Nazis. Savage, who is heard on more than 350 radio stations nationwide, said he plans to sue British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who released the list, for defamation. “She’s linking me with mass murderers who are in prison for killing Jewish children?” Savage said. “For my speech?” In addition to Savage, who is notorious for railing against Muslims, the banned Americans include a Baptist preacher from Kansas and his daughter, known for their anti-gay agitation; a leader of a small neo-Nazi group; and a former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard.
