Rittenhouse 1715
Philadelphia
This 23-room boutique hotel consists of three attached row houses alongside leafy Rittenhouse Square, said Alexis Elejalde-Ruiz in the Chicago Tribune. Its European-style décor is “elegant but not stuffy,” the genteel, dark-wood-and-leather drawing room is a pleasant place in which to lounge, and complimentary wine is offered every evening at 5:30. Rooms are not spacious, but easily accommodate two people. A complimentary breakfast is served every morning, and though the hotel lacks a restaurant, friendly staffers will tell guests where to find “the best Philly cheesesteaks.”
